THE STORY
From Chilliwack to Central Alberta.
JFK Surfaces was co-founded by Fabien Joseph Quesnel and his wife Kyla Peters in 2014 in Chilliwack, British Columbia. From its early years the business specialized in concrete work, roofing, and full-service residential contracting, growing through referral-driven local reputation.
In 2018, Fabien and Kyla relocated the business to Central Alberta, registering the Alberta operation in October of that year and establishing the home base in Innisfail. The move expanded JFK Surfaces’ service area to include Red Deer, Innisfail, Sylvan Lake, Lacombe, Olds, Ponoka, Blackfalds, Penhold, Bowden, Didsbury, Eckville, Red Deer County, and Rocky Mountain House.
Over more than a decade in the trade, Fabien has built JFK Surfaces into a full-service residential contractor handling everything from detached garages and legal basement suites to whole-home renovations, additions, roofing, siding, fencing, and concrete. The business operates with the same standards in Alberta that built its reputation in BC: permits pulled properly, code-compliant builds, and work the team is willing to put their name on.

JFK Surfaces runs its own crew and brings in trusted licensed sub-trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) as scopes require. Every project is led personally by Fabien from quote through final walk-through.
